I'm a cooking enthusiast and very gadget oriented gal; I love sharing insights on how to better use the “stuff” we do or would like to own. This is ONE of the reasons why I started my Website, reviewing mainly cooking items. The other reason was to reduce the need to E-mail recipes and tips (over and over) to cooking friends. My wonderful sharealikecooking group/list mainly grew from my sharonanne.com Website, and it is where I “almost” exclusively share recipes now: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sharealikecooking/
I teach cooking classes locally, to live audiences, and also teach “live” classes online, with VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol). Even though I offer here, TIPS & TECHNIQUES instead of recipes, the local class-favorites always includes a number of my favorite bread recipes.
I also enjoy amateur-cooking photography. My dear family is (sometimes) quite patient with me to wait until after I take pictures of a new recipe, before they get to dig in! They're use to it, I guess. LOL! [Gee] it can take longer to get the “perfect” shot, than to make the recipe/meal itself, but it always seems to be worth the effort. Want to take a peek at my photo collage?
I've been wonderfully "partnered up" with StillmanGeorge.com for an incredible half a decade sharing my BB Buttermilk Clases. Currently in development, we have some brand new classes soon to share online!
I've got “bread-making” classes and "pastry" classes SOON ON THE DOCKET!
Produced for Share Alike COOKING Connections, by "ICE" and Face 2 Face techologies! Yup, these are all going to become by far the "coolest things" on the Internet! Want Details?
Also... for over the past decade... I have had a terrific cooking partner (for one night a week). Just by doubling our efforts, we can deliver such great dinners (to each other), and our own kitchen stays relatively clean (when the other cooks)! We absolutely LOVE doing this, and taking extra care doing a really nice job (for one another) without implied competition... only generous reciprocation. We loved experiment (with each palettes), since WE'RE both more appreciative of each other's efforts, than our own familes can be [sigh].
This sort of cooperative cooking has kept all our “culinary-creative” talent(s) rather strong, as have my ShareAlikeCooking list has too, but sure... all "kid friendly" stuff is still real important too.
Warmly,
Sharon Anne
